This guy is easily one of the most overlooked-under rated players that for some reason wanst drafted. From the limtyed time I have seen him at Mizz and in the SL--I think this guy is not only a guy who can play NBA basketball but excell in the nBA--especially in this type of offense. He's fast and athletic for his size long and multi skilled. He put up pretty gaudy numbers in Mizz 10 man system last year and to show you the PRODUCTION over 30 minutes I did the math 40 min 23.4 points 9.8 rebounds 3.4 assists 1.7 steals 1.2 blocks .493FG% The one overwhelming theme that I have seen in SL is the guys who were good--who were leaders for good teams--have played the same way in SL. This guy has been very very productive and good in limited minutes. If this guy plays a couple of games where he gets 35 minutes---he's going to be given a contract on the spot--he's to big diversified and skilled. This guy is definitely the hidden gem of undrafted players. I hope the Knicks have open minds knowing that we need talent and we could use a few steals in terms of finding it. RIP Crushalot😞

Didn't see much of Mizzu last year but doubt 16 could be considered a representative sample.

I think the DraftExpress analysis on Lyons covers most of the positives and negatives with his game:
http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Leo-Lyons-1229/ A lot of stuff to read about him, but I think you come away with a good idea of how he plays. At the very least, he seems like someone who will be playing in the DL working on his skills. I wonder if he would be a fit on a European team, though. My gut feeling, only from what I have read, is that he might have trouble in a disciplined system at this point. If we had a lot of room on the Knicks in terms of numbers, he might be a project and worth a signing, but I don't think we have room. Briggs- given his offensive ability, you KNOW that teams must have been REALLY concerned about his weaknesses. It is not as if he was playing, unseen, on some obscure junior college team- he was on one of the best college teams in the nation. No man is happy without a delusion of some kind. Delusions are as necessary to our happiness as realities- C.N. Bovee

Posted by Paladin55: This guy is going to be a really good pro ballplayer--to me that is the bottom line. He rebounded the ball very well at Mizz per minute but it's just his look on the court--he's got it--he's very talented. RIP Crushalot😞
