Wow....that sure seems like a lot of coin to put into a guy that can't score from outside of five feet. Yes he brings energy and can defend (and flop)...but, when you have a good team, you can always find guys to fill that roll.

Great point...because on a good team Varejao serves a purpose...on a decent or bad team...he is a waste.

Why the hell would they hell would they give this latin ass sideshow bob lookin' fool that kind of jack? They could go to any D League game and find somebody that can reproduce Varejeo's game. Ok, maybe or maybe not, but 50 million for an energy player?

$8.33 million/yr for Varejao, and Millsap can't get more than $8.9 million/year from Portland.

Should the Knicks offer him $9M/year? He will expect at least that much to be offered by the Knicks, now.

Doubt it. No one pays Varejo that contract either way, unless you're Danny Ferry.

I don't see how blowing cap space on Varejao entices LeBron to stay in Cleveland. Z is done. Shaq will be done. They likely won't be able to add Wade or Bosh or Amare with Varejao's new contract.

This is...HILARIOUS.

Varejao is signed through 2015. First NBA player to be signed through 2015.

And if Varejao is worth 50M then Lee is worth 100M. Which, well, we damn well won't be paying him, because we're not idiots.
