The Nuggets and forward Chris Andersen have agreed to a five-year deal that could be worth as much as $26 million, according to the player's manager.

"We're ecstatic to stay in the community," manager Mark Bryant said.

Andersen will make $3.7 million next season in the backloaded and incentive-based contract. He had a number of suitors, but said all along that he wanted to remain in Denver.

Well he's not the character risk. He also doesn't impact the game on defense like the birdman does.

I agree Lee is a better player but not 6-7 Million dollars better. I know a lot of knick fan love his hustle but skill wise how good is he. He can't shoot, can't dribble or Pass? I'm one of the very few knick fan that don't care if he leaves.

Was Bill Walton a character risk? No one knows any of the details of the drug suspension. Maybe he just wanted to taste colors, maybe he was a character risk. No one knows so why rush to judgement
