think he could have been a good fit here. We need a head at the end of games. Oh well... if DW has nothing he's got a plan

let's hope he's got a plan - as far as PGs out there who make sense for this system, bibby was up there. the guy can shoot and he's only 31.

That's pretty cheap. Hawks gonna play Johnson at the 3 or Craw off the bench?

I don't really think he would've helped here much. He can't make anything happen off the dribble anymore.

craw will probably come off the bench for them, but i'm sure they'll go three guard quite a bit.

good move for the hawks.

Trading for Crawford, terrible move, signing Bibby was a nice one.

I thought he would have been good here for a year.

They should drop Marvin. He's a mid-level player at best...a poor man's Al Harrington

marvin actually plays some defense tho. whoever gets him at an MLE could be hitting a homerun.

I think that's what they might do. Johnson has played sf before. If not Jamal can help them coming off the bench. They need a force off the bench if Murray does not stay with them.

Marvin has an outstanding jumpshot, that's the biggest difference.

And he's a little better at all phases of the game, which really adds up.

Bibby's shooting has really fallen over the last few years. He isn't as good as he was with the Kings. He had some really poor shooting years shot like 40% last year he was able to get it up to 43%

Wasn't this the same money we offered for J-Kidd? If so I would've done the same with Bibby. He's more of a scoring point guard, his playmaking abilities are limited.. but he still would've been an upgrade over Duhon.

Oh well

Yeah, sounds about right. Joe Johnson at the 3 at times.

Wilson and Marvin are on equal playing fields....one thing about them is Wilson seems more coachable. I'm still waiting for Marvin to breakout.

Is Marvin restricted btw??? That could be a reason his name isn't mentioned. He's still a valuable player. He should definately think about leaving Atlanta....Thing is nobody really needs a small fwd via the mid-level.

That is probably the smartest move the Hawks have made in the last 5 years. That team would have fallen apart with Crawford as the primary point guard. Crawford is better in a 6th man role, where he can just come in and shoot.
