I think no one is going to sign sheed more than the mid level exception and he just gonna go to the celtics

Maybe the Cavs if Shaq is healthy too. The rich got richer in general. There are a few teams that could make very exciting head to head match-ups.

I think the final four team from this year playoffs is going to be the same for next year.

Its never the same. Some other team will pop in. I don't expect the Nuggets to get back there.

If ron ron can keep from having headaches and does not kill someone, they should do well.

The Zen master should bring calm to the turbulant mind of Artest.

Great pick up!

If Bynum can get it together they will be tough.

Lakers gotta re-sign Odom...they also need to get another vet in the backcourt and they will really be tough to beat. Artest makes them scary.

The Cavs may not be able to be Orlando. Shaq is still horrible at defending against the pick and roll. The pick and roll is one of the Magics best plays.

Kobe Gasol Artest (maybe Odom)> Howard Lewis Carter > Garnett, Pierce, Rondo, Allen, Wallace > James O'neal

Artest might push Phil Jackson out the door. I don't know if that stops the Lakers.

This is true, but their chances of beating Orlando have increased now with O'neal. Howard abused the Cavs because of their lack of big men. That dissipated quickly against LA with Bynum, Gasol, and Odom.

By adding Carter and losing Turkoglu, are the Magic better, worse or about the same?

was Turkoglu a large part of the success of the pick and roll?

I don't know. When healthy the Celtics core consistently outplayed the Lakers. I wouldn't leave Rondo off the list either. He's an extremely efficient, emerging player. I actually think he's their 2nd best player even though most would probably rank Pierce ahead of him.

Yea but by next year's playoffs, its already going to have been 2 years since the Celtics won their championship. That's a lot of time for aging guys like KG, Pierce, and Allen. And Kobe, Gasol, Artest, and Odom are all pretty much in their primes.

Barring any major injury, of course, the Spurs will replace the Nuggets in the Final Four. The Rest of the teams will stay intact. They are head and shoulders above the rest of the teams. And yeah, the Celtics are too old.
