Anthony Randolph is phenomenally overrated on this board. Even moreso than Andrew Bynum was.

We always like to talk about guys that would be a good fit for D'Antoni's system, well, AR would be a GREAT fit.
Say what you want about him being overrated, I personally think we should wait a little more before anointing him, but there is no doubt the kid is very talented and has the potential to develop into a very special player. BRIGGS built him up a lot before last year's draft and I think its safe to say that he was right on the money (as of right now at least). "This is a very cautious situation that we're in. You have to be conservative in terms of using your assets and using them wisely. We're building for the future." - Zeke (I guess not protecting a first round pick is being conservative)

Posted by VDesai: I think our lineup for the future should be: C-Gortat F-DeAndre Jordan F-Anthony Randolph G-Demetris Nichols G-Anthony Roberson (cause I cant think of a PG scrub that is talked on on here right now) Championship, here we come. I've said it before I'll say it again if we acquired all the scrubs and young kids that are boosted to heights well beyond their worth on this and other Knick forums? We'd have a 15 win team LOL. I just don't get the love affair. http://popcornmachine.net/ A must-use tool for NBA stat junkies!

Anthony Randolph would be a nice player off the bench. I will say this, if I had Anthony Randolph or Jordan Hill on the draft board, I go with A Randoplh. Not that Im hating on Hill or anything.
David Lee for Anthony Randolph and Stephen Curry I would do. But I still feel we can include David Lee in something to get Chris Bosh. I don't care what people think. People are stupid. - Charles Barkley

if we can get Lee on the cheap I am all for keeping him these days, a young in house player that seems durable, if we sign him cheap enough he would be a valuable asset for future trades with other teams looking to add that final piece to their team.

Posted by knicks1248:Posted by toodarkmark: Not hating on Hill, I'm just not much for his game. But then again I wasn't much into Brook Lopez's game last year and I was wrong. I hope I'm off about Hill too, he just hasn't impressed me enough in college. I would still rather have Randolph then Hill. But not by much. I don't care what people think. Every player is a scrub until they aren't??? I'm sorry but If I see a 6'11 player grabbing rebounds and handing the ball at the top of the key, overrated isn't even in the convo imo. Blocking shots and guarding point guards................ yeah that is everyday bench/DLeague stuff. LOL
Lee should be traded, but I really can't think of a fair deal. Nobody is going to want to give up a great player because Lee's contract is going to be pretty big. So maybe we should trade him for a pick(s) and expirings. "Really, all Americans want is a cold beer, warm p***y, and some place to s**t with a door on it." - Mr. Ford
