Since his potential suitors are dwindling and that Golden State may have lost out on Amare.
Lee seems like he would fit into that team. Of course Lee would have to want to go there.
They have plenty young players that we'd be interested in, also the man who drafted those players could be the next GM for the Knicks. Also Nate wants to go back to the westcoast so why not include him too. I like D Lee & Nate but it appears their time in NYC could be up.

though i don't think even the warriors are that crazy. they know AR is a young Bosh. we could've drafted him ourselves. we should have.

I dont know about all that. Talk to a lot of Warrior fans and they are not as excited about Randolph as guys here are.

They think he has promise, but they dont think he is some Wilt/Jordan/Stockton/Malone/Lebron hybrid, like UK. He's skinny and raw.

They think he is the savior player of their franchise. He is must see TV. Don't we get GS in SL--I think Hill has like 15 pounds on AR--lets see what the results are.

Bro, whats the deal? I never said he was garbage. But my parents live in the Bay Area of California, and I have ties there. I am here currently on vacation, and I know for a fact that people dont look at Randolph as the "savior of the franchise." He is a rookie with promise, why do we have to communicate in hyperbole and overstate things? Isnt there middle ground?

The funny thing is that I agree with you on a certain level. Currently speaking, I would be far more comfortable with Randolph on the squad instead of the Rooster, but that's just after one year --- things could change. But damn, b you've got so much invested in this Randolph's career because you have this crazy ass obsession with always being right. You're acting like his hype man right now. Annoying.

Has nothing to do with right or wrong--it has to do with wanting to see your team win and get out of a ten year funk. If we had Bynum and Randolph--believe me---we would be players for a championship within two years. Cant help that Bynum got hurt but I think at 21 he can still get back--remember he was leading the NBA in FG% at 19 years old avg a double double before first injury and had multiple 20-10 games and 40-18 game last year before the injury 2. If this kid was on our team---he would be the most talked about guy in years. Gallinari has a beautiful shot but he is no where near this kid. We don't have to be in the sht hole we are in and worrying if Gallinari comes back to just play--he was supposed to be OK 6 weeks ago by the way. How would any GS fan not be excited to have the kid--look at his frikin talent. And he was 6-10.5 200 last year--now he is 6-11.5 220

Anthony Randolph is phenomenally overrated on this board. Even moreso than Andrew Bynum was.

We always like to talk about guys that would be a good fit for D'Antoni's system, well, AR would be a GREAT fit.

Say what you want about him being overrated, I personally think we should wait a little more before anointing him, but there is no doubt the kid is very talented and has the potential to develop into a very special player. BRIGGS built him up a lot before last year's draft and I think its safe to say that he was right on the money (as of right now at least).

I think our lineup for the future should be:

C-Gortat
F-DeAndre Jordan
F-Anthony Randolph
G-Demetris Nichols
G-Anthony Roberson (cause I cant think of a PG scrub that is talked on on here right now)

Championship, here we come.

I've said it before I'll say it again if we acquired all the scrubs and young kids that are boosted to heights well beyond their worth on this and other Knick forums? We'd have a 15 win team LOL. I just don't get the love affair.

Anthony Randolph would be a nice player off the bench. I will say this, if I had Anthony Randolph or Jordan Hill on the draft board, I go with A Randoplh. Not that Im hating on Hill or anything.

David Lee for Anthony Randolph and Stephen Curry I would do. But I still feel we can include David Lee in something to get Chris Bosh.

if we can get Lee on the cheap I am all for keeping him these days, a young in house player that seems durable, if we sign him cheap enough he would be a valuable asset for future trades with other teams looking to add that final piece to their team.

How can you even say this when you have'nt seen hill perform in the nba yet.

Not hating on Hill, I'm just not much for his game. But then again I wasn't much into Brook Lopez's game last year and I was wrong. I hope I'm off about Hill too, he just hasn't impressed me enough in college. I would still rather have Randolph then Hill. But not by much.

Every player is a scrub until they aren't??? I'm sorry but If I see a 6'11 player grabbing rebounds and handing the ball at the top of the key, overrated isn't even in the convo imo. Blocking shots and guarding point guards................ yeah that is everyday bench/DLeague stuff. LOL

Lee should be traded, but I really can't think of a fair deal. Nobody is going to want to give up a great player because Lee's contract is going to be pretty big. So maybe we should trade him for a pick(s) and expirings.
