I assume he wants a pay raise from his current 7 million a year salary.

I think he is as good as gone. I dont think they can justify paying Varejao more than Villanueva.

What are your thoughts?

I mean the guy isnt pure garbage but I wouldn't pay him more than 8 million. Maybe if he flopped less I'd like him more.

To put his salary in perspective you have Milicic making 7 million and he cant even get off the bench in Memphis.

Has Varejao ever seen himself play? He seems to have this opinion that he can actually ball and he should be paid star money. He's always barking about money. Duke is a clown, but we'll see. Might get paid.

opting out of 1 year $7 mil doesn't mean he thinks he's a $10 mil player. it means he wants more years. very possible he gets re-signed for 3 more years.

If this guy was making 7, D Lee deserves 30 a year.
