this is going to be a weird off-season.

i think this makes us signing Sessions EXTREMELY unlikely, as the Bucks did this to have cheddar available for Sessions.

i'd rather have Charlie V on the knicks than Al Harrington. But the fact that the Bucks would just let an asset like him go away is weird. Makes you think the economics of the league are going to be very odd this summer.

I don't think Al Harrington is going anywhere. Donnie loves him. IMO, Al Harrington vs Charlie Villenueva... I think Harrington is better.

I agree that this will be a weird off-season indeed!

If Ramon Sessions is gone, there will be plenty of point guard options available to us via trade. In light of the recent rumor-barbs about Nate Robinson and Sacramento; dont be surprised if Sergio Rodriguez ends up in NYK Uniform.

Ah beat me to it. I will say sign him up pronto! He is perfect for MDA's system. Will need to rid some contracts to keep 2010 plan alive with a Charlie V full MLE signing.

Its not a shock they didn't re-sign him....they were benching him and not calling plays for him his whole time with the Bucks....

Whoever gets him next is gonna get a really good player.

This says to me that Scott Skiles did not like him.

Lol.. every player is perfect for MDA system. And he's not that good anyway, he's a role player thus far. Why sign him as if were in need of a scoring PF. Al can do every thing he can and more. I also agree MDA has a love affair with al and walsh is heavly in he's corner as well. After those bone headed techs for hanging on the rim and a handfull of other shananigans that had cost us games, most coaches and GMs would want no part of him which is why no ones breaking down the door with offers.

CV3 will go to the cavs for the MLE I bet....unless he's that greedy. He's simply not that good there's a reason the Raptors gave up on him and the Bucks haven't even bothered to use him in an S&T situation. He's just not that good.

Sort of surprised he's been dumped so quickly for he's not a complete bum but actions do speak and teams acted on dropping him rather hastily.

My sentiments exactly!

Besides, we have a squad full of PF's. I'd resign David Lee before Villanueva. At least he brings a different dimension to the position... and even Lee can be had for the right price. I think its fair to say that we are in the market for playmaking guards, and/or shooters. Power Forwards or Small Forwards for that matter are not priority, we should be pretty set at that position!

Charlie's barely 21 years old so we have time.

Eny, I know your seriously hard for Charlie Visawaiver, but you gotta admit, Lee is a proven article, while CV, for all his obvious and projected talents has for some reason been dumped by the Bucks. The Bucks!!!

Personally, I dont think we have the roster room for CV what with Gallo, Lee, Wilson, Al, Darko, Curry and Hill sharing out the 3,4,5 spots. Hope he does well tho, seems like a nice kid.
Some men see things as they are and ask why. I dream things that never were and ask why not?
