What can this guy fetch us? Could he facilitate a trade to try to get Rubio or Evans or Flynn or something like that? He'd have to sign an extension presumably.

Do we flip Al this year? I can't see us letting him walk there are teams that value such a player. He's not a bum he just doesn't fit the Mike D scheme of TEAM WORK.

He is our most valuable asset because we wouldn't mind moving him and he can play a mean basketball game. So, his precarious situation with the club and his substantial talents make him our #1 bait.
WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

Well, I think Harrington does have tremendous value financially. You won't have to pay him a lot and you have him a piece of his prime. I could see Harrington + Chandler for Rubio + Craig Smith + filler

Trading Harrington for a prospect we must realize would eliminate a 20pt scorer and would most likely make us take a step back in our playoff hunt. With no first rd draft pick next yr I don't know Walsh would be willing to do that.

The focus of this up coming season will be to build up Curry's trade value so we could trade him for a shorter contract. Make the playoffs, Develop Gallo & Chandler into high quality starters.

With Gallo healthy and Wilson around Harrington has to go...well he doesn't have to but if the Knicks can flip him into a point guard they gotta do it.

Harrington may fetch the most value at the trade deadline when teams will be looking for scoring help to make a playoff run. I guess for a gauge of what we could get for him right now we should look to what Alanta dealt for Craw- not a lot.

I agree with that. He already has value and is healthy. So it's not a complete necessity to deal him right away. We don't even need to deal him at all, considering he'll be off the books next Summer. However, if you're gonna deal him, this coming trade deadline is the time to do it. He can help a playoff team.

If we trade him though, it's like Lee and Nate, we better get back something good.

The trade deadline is a good call. He'll be useful for a playoff run. He should get more than Craw. For one thing, he's got an expiring contract. For another, he's more of a two way player and rebounder.

i don't think Al's going anywhere now that we drafted Jordan Hill... i was thinking he might be involved in a potential offer for Amare or Bosh, but i don't think Donnie gives up a 20ppg scorer who's as versatile as Al is right now, especially since he's got an expiring contract... he'll go into the season w/Al on the roster & then consider trade options at the deadline if the right players become available IMO.
