C-Jordan Hill 6-10 235
F David Lee 6-9 240
F Danilo Gallinari 6-10 240
G Wilson Chandler 6-8 225
G Chris Duhon 6-2 190
C Darko Milicic 7-0 250
F Al Harrington 6-8 245
G Larry Hughes 6-5 175
G Nate Robinson 5-9 190

I'd like to see us replace Sessions with Duhon--move Duhon back to the back up PG and let Nate walk. They are going to cost roughly the same $$$ and the contract has no effect on amximum contract for 2010. To sign David Lee--I think we are going to need to get rid of Jefferies using Mobley's contract.
Two big men that werent drafted Josh Heytvelt Leo Lyons[who is quite a skill player from the 4 and who's production per minute rivaled any player in the draft]] seem to fall into our teams style of play if we were to be in a position where Lee cannot be retained.

If that's Eddie, he definitely looks like he's losing weight. His face is much thinner.

I like the idea of Signing Jason Kidd to a one year deal

PG Kidd / Duhon
SG Hughes / Douglas
SF Chandler /Harrington
PF Gallo / Harrington
C Hill / Milicic

And you can throw Eddy Curry into the mix as the trade value rehabilitation special

I like Sessions, but I don't see the Knicks signing him for two reasons. One is that he'll require a contract that goes more than one year. The other is, he's not that good from three point range. Losing Jeffries with Mobley's contract is a good idea and very feasable. If we can get either Heytvelt or Lyons, he'd be nice to have on the bench particularly if we lose Lee.

With regard to losing Lee, in the interview with Tierney that's linked on another thread, D'Antoni was asked if the aquisition of Hill and Milicic meant there's no place for Lee. D'Antoni actually came out and said that Lee was better than either of them and there's always room for the better guy. There are only a few teams with cap room right now, so my guess is that Lee stays - and for less than he's hoping to get . I think Nate will walk and Douglas will replace him in the rotation unless we make a trade or sign someone to the mid-level.

I think Sessions makes a lot of sense. An MLE doesnt disrupt the salary cap on 2010. He simply would take Nate's salary spot and we move Duhon to back up. They are going to have to work hard and work quick to find a deal to get rid of Jefferies so we can sign Lee back. Right now Jared Jefferies salary is the primary problem to deal with.
Also I do hope we can get Heytfelt and Lyons on our SL team. Perhasp even look at guys like Harris Mcneal etc.. a few of those guys. We could use depth in both the guard andfrontcourt positions. I know Jeff Adrien signed up with memphis.

Did not really know about Lyons. DraftExpress has some good things about him, but indicates a suspect BB IQ. He evidently has some talent- if he makes the roster he would be a good DLeague candidate based on what I read. Worth a look, IMO.
