Interesting. Walsh tried to trade up but decided against because the price was too big. And Flynn wasn't even on the Knicks draft board.

my guess is that was the WAS rumor where Chandler was being demanded in order for us to move up to the #5 slot... way too big a pricetag when u don't even know if Ricky Rubio will be available to begin with... or maybe it was a similar scenario w/OKL.

It would've been more than worth it for Steph Curry as well. As it turned out, we could've grabbed Curry or at least Flynn to run the show and replaced Chandler with any of the talented SFs still on the board at 29 - Young, Summers, Brown etc.. Oh well. Hindsight's 20/20. Time to move on.

Flynn wasn't even on Donnie's draft board according to his post draft comments... apparently they had Rubio, Curry & Jordan Hill as 3 of their top picks.
