On the way to work, I heard a glimpse of D'antoni on the WFAN radio.Idk if this was mentioned or not but I'll mention what I heard. He stated that if Eddy Curry does anything for the Knicks, then it's a bonus. He mentioned that Gallinari can be a really good player. He spoke about developing Chandler this past season. I'm not sure how accurate this part is but he said that drafting Hill was someone as BPA type of thing. They like him cause of what he can do. Tony Douglas was liked cause they needed a Duhon backup because Duhon was basically worn out and said that Tony can be a pretty good defender. This is what I remember from a sleepy morning drive. Hope some of this helps.

Thanks, I see Douglas as a backup to Duhon as well. Anything more is just a bonus. The good thing is you don't lose anything really as the kid can do it at both ends.

it's not his guy. you think D'Antoni wants to have to use that slug next season? the "showcase eddy" period of next season is going to be painful.

I thought Donnie's "he's starting to look like an athlete again" was better.
