Hell yeah....I tore my left ACL a few years back and I made it a UK event, lol. Physical Therapy is frustrating dude...you gotta get that knee to get the full range of motion back. Take ur meds dude...don't be a hero. I hope you got ur Vicodine or the generic equal by ur side. Use as directed.

It's been 3 years now I believe....my knee is still ****ed. Hurts in the rain and still feels loose and weak. Then again i'm terribly out of shape. I'm working on improving that so just stay focused and follow ur doctor and therapist instructions.

I did. They'll tell you to sleep with your leg straightened at night, do it, it'll block build-up of scar tissue.

Do the exercises early and often.

More later.

took me like 3-4 years after surgery (maybe more but I am old) to get things right for me.

lol @ you are old....

the cartilage in my left knee is gone...it sounds like a crushing a bag of potato chips every time I bend it. It's annoying as hell.

Thanks for you guys suggestions and insight. I hurt it playin' ball.. Went up for an explosive layup... came down on my right leg.. My eyes were looking right at my knee when i seen it twist right to left to right.. It hurt soooooo bad. It was embarassing because I had this chick there I was showing off in front of... I did hit my first 3 3 pointers.. but i was only on the court for a total of 7 mins of actual playing time. Range of motion is so hard right now... It nhurts when I intially stand cuz I can feel the blood flowing down my leg which in turn causes a throbbing pain at my knee.

I'm praying I won't need surgery. Yesterday had X-Rays taken bone structure is fine. Next probably a MRI. I'm hoping its just a sprained knee.

word tearing my acl was embarrassing cuz i was arguing and cursing out a few guys cuz they wouldn't run the floor with me...I took 3 guys on full court jumped off my right leg to make a left handed lay-up...made the lay-up but when I landed on my left leg it ejected me some 15ft out the gym door.

all my quickness and explosion gone...wish I could get it back
