if the Knicks don't make a trade for Rubio, i can see them going after Curry using Chandler as trade bait... that is if those Amare rumors are indeed dead.

damn, after all the man love Curry got leading up to this draft around here i'm surprised none o'yall would even chime in on this... seems like the door to Curry ending up a Knick isn't completely closed if u ask me.

are the amare rumors dead? ric bucher said they had to wait until july 9 to make the trade.

Poor Curry. Such a good kid, didn't even work out for GS (as did many others). He's a pro but I bet if that team doesn't turn things around will want out.

Why couldnt we work a deal out with Minn if we wanted Curry that bad? Odds are Flynn is there at 8. I dont think he was on GS's radar.

Even so, it was that important that they get Flynn AND Rubio? They wouldnt have been happy with Rubio, Hill, and whatever compensation we provided? Just sounds strange, but then again it is Minnesota.

I still cannot understand how Minny will use Rubio and Flynn together, or how GS will use Ellis and Curry in the same backcourt. You have some big 2's in the West, and now Sacramento and OKC will both have big backcourts. Makes no sense to me for each of those teams to make those picks unless they expected to trade them.

Maybe trading the draft rights of Hill and something extra for Curry will get the job done, although I don't know what GS would want from us.

A very strange draft, IMO.

yeah it doesn't make sense to me either dude... both MIN & GS seem to have issues now at the PG position... i don't see how they both don't end up making trades to solve these issues.

i hope you guys are right, and i hope curry (or ellis) can come to us. but i don't know if it's likely. if anyone gets traded, it will probably be ellis, and later on in the season when it is determined that curry is an adequate replacement. it seems that the warriors are genuinely interested in curry and he has a lot of hype around the league. sad to say, this one might be out of our reach.

right, Ellis could be on the move, who knows at this point... i do think 1 of those guys will be traded tho... just saying if that's the case then the Knicks might do well to look into the trade possibilities to land Curry.
