This could be a sign that the Knicks will not resign Lee and Robinson to teh team.

C'mon they pick a PF and and Combo guard, same pos as Lee and Robinson.

I think it's bye bye to David and NAte

I think so Wood.

My guess is Nate just walks and they sign and trade Lee somewhere.

i think that was pretty much obvious ever since Donnie went all in on the 2010 plan... neither of those guys fit into that plan... he better make sure he gets back some value for them now tho... he needs to get expirings & future picks for those guys at the very least.

I'm not sure about Nate but getting Darko says it all about Lee.

Lee will be a S&T for a solid 2...I hope.

Nate? Depending on what he gets offered, may stay and start at the 2.

The team still needs at least a backup PG...

Always felt that we'd try to keep Lee if reasonable and would look to move Nate. It appears now that Lee will be S&T'd and we'd probably do the same with Nate to dump Jeffries perhaps.

I wouldn't say Lee is definitely on his way out - it certainly looks like NY is preparing for it, but as it is our front court isn't exactly stacked. Darko (love the trade, but still a questionable player) and Hill can't do it on their own.

You can't expect anything from Eddy, even if he produces, Donnie will ship him out in a heartbeat if he can get an expiring.

Right, forgot about Hughes, I thought he was a Wizard already....lol.

Anyway, too bad, Lee is the odd man out but he really needs to improve his D and Shooting...that holds him back. I like his heart but this is about winning. Hill and Mlcic will provide more, I hope, overall. N8's skills are a bit tougher to duplicate but if you can get rid of jefferies too..then DO IT!

I like the Toney Douglas pick b/c he's a legitimate 2 way sixth man. He can score the lights out when he's hot and can legitimately guard opposing 1's.

That's a great value pick by the Knicks at 8. He was a top 4 talent in this draft. Explosive athleticism along the frontline and he really hits the boards. If he puts on more weight/muscle he can play an Amare kind of role. His floor is something like Chris Wilcox is. His athleticism will allow him to score around the basket and rebound well on the NBA level. Definite perrennial 10 RPG potential.

By drafting Hill an d Douglas, is that a guaranteed 3mm a piece for both of them?

The qualifying offer for Lee is around 2.9mm and for Nate is 2.7mm

If a team offers either of them more than 5mm, then they are definitely gone cause Walsh priority is 2010..
