Spurs were praised for selecting him and the pick was compared to Parker and Ginoblli by Ford. I think teams mess up alot in the draft by overlooking the proven guy sometimes. Blair released his medical records and his knees were supposed to be healthy after surgery. I think he will have a great career with the spurs. They can limit his minutes and he will add alot to their reloaded core. Blair was a true monster, not the Shaq of the Mac like Malik in college.

Blair never missed a game or practice in his 2 years at Pitt. Maybe he has bum knees, but the guy is a player. He measured almost 6'7" bare feet at the cobine. That is short for a power forward but he has good wing skills as well.
The Spurs just nabbed themselves another steal who can contribute immediately while the rest of the NBA stood there and watched.
