We're hearing that Sacramento and Portland are closing in on a deal that would send Sergio Rodriguez and the #38 pick to Sacramento for #31.

I posted this since we've talked about trading with Portland and getting Rodriguez back.

The Kings have agreed to terms with Portland to acquire Blazers point guard Sergio Rodriguez in exchange for their No. 31 pick, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. The Kings will also receive Portland's No. 38 pick and cash considerations. - Sam Amick

I think way back when we mused about Nate to Portland and wanting Fernandez back...it was pretty obvious Rodriguez was the one for sale.

So I just found it interesting...it kind of closes the door on a Knick-PLD trade IMO
