Just a few hours away from the start of this year's NBA Draft, its time for all of you to show how Miss Cleo you really are. We know everybody here knows what is gonna happen, so prove your skills in the Hang Your Ass!- 2009 NBA Draft Edition thread.

Following its original version, http://wwww.ultimateknicks.com/forum/topic.asp?t=28345, this is the time to hang your ass and make some bold predictions.

We're not talking about: The Clippers will select Blake Griffin with the #1 pick. Gimme a break!

We're talking about really hanging it, and what a better occasion than such an unpredictable draft? Selections, trades, who will be the star and who will be the bust of this draft, but "hang your ass" style.

Knicks select Hill. and then everyone will think we're getting Rubio for DLee July 9th, but that won't happen. maybe Sergio over the summer for Dlee and some other parts from PDX (the 22nd pick + Martell?).

yea.. I know the staff loves Lee, but after reading that article I think they take Hill and later use Lee in a S%T

Curry will shoot 41% from the field and have a poor ass:to ratio and Knicks fans will counter with all you need to do is put him next to a big pg who can distribute and defend and he will be an all-star.

I agree. It's funny, I think, that in the weakest draft in recent memory we have a player that will rival even the best selections in much better draft classes, like 2003.

well this draft does suck, but Griffen is awesome. Physical speciman + work ethic + love of basketball + coachable = all star for many many years. I see a more athletic Elton Brand

OK, well I don't know who we will select because I don't know who will fall. I feel we WONT move up in the draft today. I feel we will quietly select at #8. In that I think any of Curry, Evans, Flynn, Derozan, Hill, Holiday, Jennings will be there. Yeah, big ass hang out, eh? That's how unknown I see this draft.

So the big ass hang out is we quietly select at 8.

I feel QRich for Darko is quite possible maybe using the #29 pick slot to get it done to swap Memphis' 27.

As crzymdumps said perhaps a July 9th S&T of Lee for Rubio or Curry if selected top 4. Something along those lines.

Then I just see Donnie finding a way to dump Jeffries presumably revisiting a packaged S&T'd Nate Robinson.

Curry...unless the Rockets are really stupid....won't be going anywhere unfortunately unless his fat ass gets into shape and looks useful ala Crawful/Zachass early last season.

Then I predict we don't use the MLE or LLE. I feel we will run with what we have. We will keep with the 2010 plan.

3 years from now, Griffin will not be the best player to come out of this draft imo.
