He's OK offensively at best but this is a team full of guys that score right now. He's got tremendous potential as a lock down defender and is a great rebounder and distributor right out of the box. He's a guy that can come in play right away. He can defend several positions and his size and rebounding makes him very versatile when the Knicks play their smallish lineups. He's also one of the best athletes in this draft.

He's my pick as this Josh Howard

ford was going on about how he is going to be a travelling circus (he didn't specifically say this) with his off-the court behavior, telling simmons he will get to write a series of 10,000 word columns just about him.

he said the ny post will have their own special photographer just to follow him around and that generally the tabloid papers will love the guy.

apparently he carried around a barbie backpack recently, and wore sponge bob socks.

It looks like if Knicks not able to get the 3 players they're aiming for, they'll be picking Gerald Henderson SG, 6'5 from Duke??? WHY?

Terrence Williams is a psycho. I love his game. I wanna say he's like Rodman....I say that because of the psychotic shape he is in. He's one of those guys that just knows how to play the right way(not Larry Brown's way, btw lol)....I'd definately take him if the Knicks had another pic.

The knicks need to trade down.

I would be absolutely okay with Terrence Williams. For starters, he walked around Louisville in Sponge Bob pants and a Barbie backpack (no joke) and he can BALL. Anyone who watched NCAA hoops last year knows the name Terrence Williams. He and Hansborough are going to fall more than they should, especially in this weak draft. Why not get the dudes that did something in college when there are no true "upside" picks this year?

Dude, that's more a sign of stupidity and immaturity than anything positive; don't know why you list it as such (positive). No thanks, just because of that.

Because there's more to life than being some corporate knob jockey. The guy is who he is and I have all the respect in the world for that. But I'm glad we know:

orangeblobman's draft rules
  • no tattoos
  • no Sponge Bob pants
  • no Barbie backpack
  • no ****ing tattoos

but in all seriousness, I think this guy's quirks is why he is falling further than he should (like Ron Artest minus the violence factor) and i am more than okay with getting a guy who will become a 30-35 MPG player. In this draft, I'll take that regardless of anyth other factor

myself and the bluest have been pushing for this guy hard on realgm.. what impresses me is his rebounds,(almost 9 per game) and assists(over 5 per). He is a smart player and ultra athletic, I love the way he plays... but I don't see the knicks taking him at 8 unfortunately..

It's not so much being a corporate knob jockey, but being a decent human being. People that go out in public in pjs and sandals with socks are disgusting.

If he becomes a 30-35 mpg then cool, but I doubt it, his immaturity will prevent him from succeeding. It took Ron Artest more than half his career to become half-way normal.

He can't shoot... he does everything else, but he can't shoot. And unfortunately I think taht disqualifies him from the 's school of basketball

Howard's a good offensive player. I see a Gerald Wallace/Gerald Wilkins hybrid with T-Will. - 6'6", good strong athlete who's defense & intangibles are ahead of his offensive game. Wallace and G. Wilkins is/was capable offensive players though that on any given nite could go off and drop 25-30 but neither guy is/was really a big-time consistent offensive player (though Wallace is a better offensive player now than when he came into the league). That's how I see T-Will. Howard's not a terrible comparison, he's a two-way player, but I think he's a step up from what we're talking about here.

I would love to see him in a Knick uniform but is he lottery pick material?? And what I mean by that is lottery picks are "suppose" to be players that can right in and make an impact on your team.

would the Knicks be better off packaging the pick some how in hopes of landing him later?

williams seems like a risky pick although i inquired about him a few weeks ago at 8, but later in the draft makes a good amount of sense.

however, if you get multiple picks then you don't have to go for "where they should be picked" but where you think they will be picked, and go from there.

in other words, take a guy at a spot that might be higher than he's rated, just to make sure you get him, if later in the draft you have confidence you can get someone else you like.

PJs and sandals with socks are disgusting has some kind of impact on what kind of human being you are?

Where you the guy on all fours getting slapped on the ass with a wooden paddle at college yelling "THANK YOU SIR MAY I HAVE ANOTHER?"

Dress nice! You will always be a decent human being!

Newsflash. People walk around in their PJs all the time in these days. At least they do here. It's something called being lazy for a minute and not giving a crap what others think of you.

the barbie backpack is disturbing. hope its in honor or memory of a daughter, sister, or niece.

besides, cornering the market on Rainer Beach HS guards hasn't yielded any positive results thus far, tho at this point I don't agree with just dumping Nate

the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!
