Boston GM Danny Ainge and Detroit President of Basketball Operations Joe Dumars never spoke, according to the report. Instead a lower-level Celtics executive made the pitch to a Pistons official last weekend. Detroit immediately rejected the idea.

ESPN loves jumping on other stories, it's awesome when they aren't true and ESPN looks stupid. I love that.

Me too. I love the fact that said Billy Donavan quit on Florida right before their Final Four game. Billy Packer crapped all over ESPN for running with stupid rumors all the time. That rant was a thing of beauty.

I don't think it's a lopsided as people here make it sound. Rondo is the best player in that trade IMO. He's young, incredibly efficient on offense, and improving each year.
