THE Y, June 15 (obmpress) - YMB defeated the blue team (don't know the name) 49-45. Started off 14-2, but blue made a run and led going into the half, 21-19. YMB came out strong in the second, re-energized by obm's motivational talk during the 2:00 minute half-time water-break. After a surge, YMB went up by 11 points with 4 minutes to go, but gave the crowd of 7 a scare in the final minute as the blue team came within 3 points after a three-point play by the Fat-Guy-Who-Talked-Sh**-The-Whole-Game. YMB closed out the game after they stopped making stupid long-ball passes.

Obm came through with yet another season-best performance, playing energized ball and progressing on his come-back after a 2 year retirement, finishing with 2 point, 3 blocks, and maybe, like, 8 rebounds. Obm set the tone early with his defensive presence, his first block coming on an echoing swat of an enemy's driving-layup attempt. The blue team knew it wasn't going to be easy when obm was in. His third block sealed the game as obm swatted an incoming floater and them promptly dished the ball the length of the court, setting up an easy lay-up for his teammate.

YMB stands at 4-3 with 3 regular season games to go and improving every week. The championship seems like a more realistic goal after every game. Next game is on Wednesday at 10 pm.
