Embodies this years "throw the remote" / "throw the TV" pick. I keep reading little snippets about him at 8. I wouldn't take him at 28. Too often we have had guys with no bball IQ, no mental toughness to go along with low talent. Daye is the weakest nBA prospect since Shawn Bradley & the wimpiest since our own Eddy Curry.

I think that we are inviting him to see if he is worth picking up if we can acquire a later pick. Good shooter and good height, but yeah, he is soft. I don't think his skills are terrible- you hope that he puts on some weight and grows some balls and maybe you have a player.

I thought the Knicks got their soft 6'10" guy who can hit the three in the 08 draft.

I dont think he's that bad...he has some skill and has an NBA role. I dont see him having the potential to be a total bust though he may be frustrating to watch at times because of his size

I don't doubt his skills, but he plays like he's made of glass.

I like him. Orlando just got all the way to the finals with two similar guys at the 3 & 4.

I think he's an excellent choice at the end of the lotto... the guy can play and guys with his build (like Tayshuan Prince) always have the same concerns coming into the draft and can usually contribute. There's concerns about his weakness but there was also a rumor through Sports Illustrated which said that they think he threw his work out because of a promise, likely Phoenix or Detroit, and I say he is off the board by 15

The tall, thin kind of human being is not weak, just structured differently. It is not so much about how big you are but how well you use your body. See Mugsy Bogues and Tayshaun Prince. So his size and perceived lack of strength or toughness is a null point and doesn't really concern me.

He was nice looking kid at 8 but when he will turn 28 he will be horrible. He will not be even in NBA at this age...

Note: I am not saying that thin guys can't succeed. I am saying that this thin guy won't succeed b/c he fears contact like the plague.

Apparently Omri Casspi annihilated Daye in a recent workout.
