I get it but at this point, everyone has already caught on too.

harden has game. sure he missed a few of the shots earlier (hitting an overwhelming number of them though), but he does well in the more closely simulated bits.

interesting how he dunks a lot more than we see in the other workouts. almost as if he wants to prove he's not a "softee." interesting, but regardless, a talent i would not be against having on the knicks.

No arguing that he can shoot.

Wow Harden really looks like a player we should be hoping to fall to the knicks.

Dude, I wouldn't touch Harden with a 1000000ft pole with the way he performed down the stretch. I'm sorry but that matters to me.

I dont see him making it to 8. He is very long for a guard. A couple of negatives--he does look uncomfortable when going to the right hand and he seemed to have some of that lower body hitch that Evans had during the year--where he was kicking his legs out on some of his jumpers--notice his left leg how it kicks across to the right.. The one thing that stands out is just how long he is for a guard--seems like he can dunk easily from any angle. He is also put together

It matters, but stuff like that changes. There's a lot of guys who start their careers as not very clutch players but then that changes over the years. It's just about growing up and being competitive.

Was he putting his shooting hand behind his head a bit more during the season? I think that someone has worked on making his shot more compact. Much better release.

Evans seemed quicker, with better footwork, at his Sac workout. Speed/quickness was Harden's problem in the tournament, IMO.

He is solid- should cause some problems in the post.

calbert cheaney?

how are they even the same?

harden is a better shooter and more athletic, i think.

i also think it is not such the greatest idea to overemphasize how college players perform in the ncaa tourney, or late in the college season.

there are plenty of contrary examples.

wasnt impressed with him in college and that workout didnt impress me. Seems like a slightly above average athlete. He can shoot with nobody in his face tho.

His body language and ability just scream mediocre, NBA career to me.

i'm not saying he's gonna be a super star, but he can be at least a pretty nice starter for a team.

and i ask a question, you seem pretty high on rubio. why are you high on the knicks drafting rubio but not harden who's shown he can score very well in college?

speaking for myself, Rubio looked impressive going up against elite NBA level competition in the Olympics at the age of 17... Harden disappeared for his team when they needed him most in the biggest games they played last year... i agree w/nyk, i wouldn't touch this guy with our pick.

I actually love Harden and would draft him ahead of Rubio IF pg wasn't one of our biggest needs.

As for NCAA vs Olympics, Rubio played with a very talented team while Harden was the only major player on his team. Seeing how he is still rather young I have very high hopes for him.

Cheaney had game when he was with the Wizards. I doubt that Harden has more hops than Cheaney. Cheaney could jump out of the gym and was exposive. He shot in the high 40's percent wise. Cheaney main problem was he played with other players that demanded the ball more (Webber, Howard, Strickland). If Harden has a game like Cheaney he will be a good player.

Also remember this is a workout with no other players playing defense on him.
