http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/knicks/2009/06/riley-cavs-media-all-living-in.html So Isola is posting thoughts on his blog such as Mike Brown being fired and Pat Riley being stolen away from Miami, and considers them innocent thoughts of a webblogger. Now, saw them as bs, cause I am familiar with his writing and I doubt that he even has one legitimate source (does this forum count as a source?). I also think anyone who reads Frank Isola's work would agree that he has the least journalistic integrity of any Knicks beat writer-- even though Hahn's paper is owned by Cablevision and Berman has some serious man-love issues with Marbury---they still write the news. Realizing that, I am not certain why anyone would take Isola serious in any event. All of this said, why would Isola just make up these scenarios that have next to no basis in reality, post them on a commercial newspaper website and then act offended when Miami and Cleveland hold press conferences to deny the rumor he started? I mean, I get it, as a beat writer with a 'blog' he beleives that in that blog, he is not subject to the basic tenets of journalistic integrity and can write his thoughts freely. While he may be right on that point, just because it says 'blog' and is a forum to state his opinion doesn't mean that it doesn't reflect poorly on him as a journalist. Not everyone picks up the term 'blog' to mean "opinion editorial" or "BS forum". I think Isola should be more careful about the bs he is feeding the world. You know I gonna spin wit it
