I would trade #8 for him - great supporting cast for Lebron - if you can grab him and Stoudamire or Nash this team becomes legit - but again, it won't happen.

31 Years old. Big contract. Breaking down pretty quickly. I'd pass.

I see no incentive for the Spurs to break up Duncan-Manu-Parker anyway. They'll do that when their contracts are up. Until then they're going to continue to pursue the Finleys and Horrys of the league if you will. Wouldn't be surprised to see Rasheed there or TMac eventually. Spurs do a good job utilizing aging vets in a role.

So we want him? I think the Spurs see how his health is first and just plug along with the big 3 and try to add some talent like they've done endlessly all these years. I don't see him being traded and I don't see why we'd want to risk him.

he's getting old and he's an expiring. one decent proposal (and I dont think there has been one yet, they got a San Antonio scribe to send out feelers by planting a story that teams have inquired) and he's on the first thing smokin'...Spurs window is about shut, they need to do something drastic.

also if you look at their roster...who else are they supposed to trade aside from a dude like Manu??? It would be a sad day for them but if a team wants to trade something are somethings....they gotta do it. I think they might need a small fwd....

I don't wanna be raggin on Ginnobili since he was such a key factor in getting those rings, but you don't know when he'll be on the court for you. Not saying I wouldn't want him, but I'd be very careful with what I gave up.

The only thing they will wont from us is Lee.
Lee paring with Big Fundamental with Pop orchestration and Parker running the point will be something special.
We want to dump Lee future contract... so why not to help Spurs to get another run.
