Okay, so I am now posting this in three different threads, yes, I know...sorry martin & Andrew....
I figure this is easiest for those who just want to quickly know WHO THE KNICKS ARE WORKING OUT OVER THE NEXT TWO DAYS. By process of elimination after seeing the MSG video posted by Cosmic and reading Steve Admamek's blog today: http://njmg.typepad.com/knickknacks/2009/06/from-the-first-draft-workouts-.html This should sum up the Knicks workout schedule: Tuesday June 9th: Ty Lawson (NC),Johnny Flynn (Syracuse), Toney Douglas (Florida State), Taiwain McKee (Coppin State), Leo Lyons (Missouri), Donte Cunningham (Villanova) Wednesday June 10th: Steph Curry (Davidson), Jrue Holiday (UCLA), BJ Mullens (Ohio State), Gerald Henderson (Duke), Dionte Christmas (Temple), Chris Singleton (Florida State) RE-EDIT (thanks to matt4281): I had Flynn and Holiday on the wrong days...Flynn was today the 9th, tomorrow is Holiday [Edited by - PresIke on 06-09-2009 5:32 PM] [Edited by - PresIke on 06-09-2009 5:33 PM] [Edited by - PresIke on 06-09-2009 5:37 PM] Forum Po Po and #33 for a reason...

interesting, is if you go to Draft Express you can see almost all of the players the Knicks are looking at are considered to have pretty high basketball IQ.
Henderson Cunningham Curry Holiday Lawson and Flynn aren't listed that way, but they are guys who can pass and have good vision. Christmas is a senior so he's not as much of a spring chicken (i like what i saw of him this year). Mullens is someone I know some here (including me) are glad we brought in for a closer look, given our team's needs, his potential, and something you can see Mike D liking. meanwhile Douglas, also a senior, is not considered a cross-over scorer, but can nail the contested jumper efficently. according to nbadraft he is also good with the pick-and-roll, one of d'antoni's bread and butter plays. he's described as a "disciplined" player. sounds like what pretty much all knick fans and d'antoni crave. no wonder we are curious, even with his weaknesses. it's interesting how teams mix "stars" with guys who may not be as heralded to see how they fare. i mean, chandler was pretty much a diamond in the rough, which is one thing you have to credit isiah for being pretty good at. http://www.nbadraft.net/players/toney-douglas I haven't checked all of the players with too much depth who I am less familiar with, but I think the Knicks have done a good job of bringing in a mix of top rated college guys, and a few off-the-radar, stock risers, and slight sleepers.
