Just a quick heads-up while I write the quick story but the Raptors have made a trade, league sources tell me.

Jason Kapono's gone to the Philaelphia 76ers for Reggie Evans.

basically - it's a good move for both teams.

sixers have brand returning and hired eddie jordan - fair to say they have expectations for next season. they did not have a shooter. now they got one.

raptors needed some toughness and a frontcourt depth. evans fits the bill and is a good complement to bosh + bargs. plus they save $1-2 mil a year for the next two seasons.

i suggested kapono for jeffries - this is in the same vein.
