I called him the white Zach Randolph. A solid second round pick--I think he will be better than people think. He looked real good physically at the combine and had good numbers and in terms of production--he is one of the most productive PFs in CBB--very worthy of 2nd rounder. They should look at Luke Nevell as well.

Im a major fan of Harangody....he knows how to play the game and he knows how to score the ball inside with the greatest of ease. His body looked great his final year....he's a really good player. If he was 6'9" and better he would be a lottery pick.

It's a very solid second round pick--what is there to lose? The guy is a 20-10 machine on that level. You would think that he could be a solid 9 or 10th man and help our interior depth. He's plays at 120% and he's quite skilled although a little unorthodox. He does get bipped a lot but tends to get his own bound.

He looks like he is 15 pounds lighter at the combine--he is moving pretty darn well and hitting his shots. He also sounds intelligent and a very good kid.

If it came to choosing Green or Harangody, I think the Knicks would take Green. Harangody doesn't have the length I think the Knicks want in the frontcourt, and I expect having a big SG who could play D coming off the bench would make Green a more attractive pick if they were both available.

With that being said, I could see Harangody becoming a popular player with the fans if he was on the team- a bulldog type player who could bring energy and muscle to the floor, as well as a jump shot that seemed to surprise people at the combine. Does his game translate into NBA success?

If it came down to Harangody or Gibson, who would the Knicks want?

And what about Pendergraph? Any love for him as a second round pick- he looked to be in good shape in Chicago. Has a big body, can rebound, and hit the midrange shot. Also a pretty good FT shooter.

How would Derrick Brown look as a 2nd? Don't really know the guy's game at all. Any talent? His combine numbers were pretty good, and I seemed to remember that he seemed like an intelligent guy in an interview I saw. Read that his jumper was not so consistent, but his FT% was not bad, and he hit over 40% on his 3's this year.

Lots of decent rotation quality players to look at in the late 1st and 2nd rounds. It would be nice to get 1 or 2 extra picks this draft.

Good thread. If we can pick up an early 2nd rounder or even a very late 1st, this guy could give us similar value to we got from drafting David Lee. He will get taken advantage of defensively, but he's got a shot, he can score with his back to the basket and he works the boards very well.

I agree--looks like the Knicks could restock the back end of their bench which is also something they will need to do.

He would be a great second round pick. Is he staying in the draft?
