No, they still only had 1 SF (Lebron) to defend 2 6'10" shooting SFs. The Lakers will have both Ariza & Odom to defend those guys.

They weren't exactly 'low' scoring games. The first three losses were of 2 points or less. You don't think Shaq's 17 ppg and low post presence would have helped the Cav's? Bottom line is, Cavs needed another guy who can score whenever he gets the ball. I think that would have translated into two more wins and a trip the the finals.

i think yes.....cleveland had no answer for dwight, let alone hedo and rashard. shaq would have al;lowed them to stretch the floor more. cleveland would have won.

Regardless of match ups - Shaq is a winner - he would have taken a ton of pressure off lebron and everyone else. He might have averaged 10 & 8 & 5 fouls - but his leadership would have had a greater impact.

WTF did Sasho and Little Ben do in the series? Did they even get floor time? I don't recall even seeing them.

That deal where they sent out Hughes, Shannon Brown and Gooden was stupid.

They got back Joe Smith, Ben Wallace, WallyZ, and Delonte West.

Hughes and Brown could have helped with perimeter D.

West will be the only one who remains as Brown wins a title with LA.

And why did they even need Delonte West if they were resigning Boobie Gibson and trading for Mo Williams?

was that a rumored deal or something? i don't get why Phoenix would have made that trade anyways... the contracts are a wash pretty much & both Big Ben & Pavlovic were scrub players for CLE this year... if i were Phoenix i wouldn't even consider that deal w/o CLE's 1st round & 2nd round picks this year.
