If we don't dump JJ, Curry, sign no other FAs...can we offer LBJ the max in 2010? Answer is YES.

If we don't dump JJ, Curry, sign DLee to 8mm per...can we offer LBJ the max in 2010? Answer is ?.

Jeffries we can probably dump if we pair him with someone else, but I'm not so sure you can trade Curry with anyone on this roster.

I agree...Jeffries is somewhat useful and can be thrown into a trade, Curry on the other hand is just a fat waste of space that I dont think any team would take on.

The point of this is not to make assumptions about dumping severely below equaly value (production vs. contract amount) players & ask if we can re-sign Lee at 8mm & still max out LBJ. Then to take it a step further, ask if we can do the same + sign someone to the MLE (like Sessions or as stated in another thread, Birdman).

basically, we gotta either dump JJ, dump Curry, or not sign D Lee, AND not sign Nate for all 3 of those options, to have any shot at all, no matter how miniscule it may be, of signing a max player, Lebron or anyone else.
