1. S & T Lee (8mm, 4 years) + Jefferies (6mm, 3 years) to New Orleans for Tyson Chandler (11mm, 2 years)& Rasual Butler (3mm, 1 year).
2. S & T Nate (4mm, 3 years) to Dallas for its # 22 & Stackhouse (7mm, 1 year). Knicks trade exceptions narrow the gap. Trade may be delayed until July to satify FA timing.

Use part or all of the MLE on Ramon Sessions.
Draft Tyreke Evans at 8, Tyler Hansborough at 22

PG: Sessions, Duhon
SG: Evans, Hughes
SF: Harrington, Gallo....and ultimately Gallo, Harrngton
PF: W. Chandler, Hansborough (I think he's at least Carl Landry type on the next level)
C: T. Chandler, Sene

Result: Way more athletic, younger, Q doesn't see the court, and none of this hurts the 2010 project. Matter of fact its way more inexpensive than even just re-signing Lee.

If you like Evans, I'm surprised you like PsychoT.

I like the Stack deal a lot. I think he could play on this team.

I'd draft Lawal with the pick instead of PsychoT.

Can't see the Hornets taking on any salary. Lee and one of our D-League guys might get you there though if you really wanted Chandler. They're not giving Lee a deal and taking on Jeffies though.

I'd go with

Evans
Chandler
Harrington
Gallo
Lawal

with a bench of Duhon, Jeffries, Stack, Q rich

as far as the Lee deal, I think they'll just let him go to be honest

Is this a crappy team? Yes. Did we know this was coming? Yes.

Tune in next Summer....

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

The step where your plan fall apart is at #1. NO was trying to get rid of Chandler to clear salary, why they taking back Lee and JJ at long contracts?

I don't necessarily love Psycho T's game, but he'd be pretty good beating opposing PF's down the court in this offense. I don't view him as a starter, just a bench guy with a winner's mentality.

Substituting Q for JJLips might make the deal more palatable for NO.

It's still a salary thing! Plus now it's a duplication of position thing: Lee and West!
