Jailed ex-girlfriend: I'm pregnant with Dirk's child



Cristal Taylor told The Dallas Morning News that she is pregnant with Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki's child, that they were engaged and had set a July 18 wedding date. Then, those dreamlike plans with Nowitzki collapsed with her arrest two weeks ago at his home. Speaking by telephone from jail in Beaumont, Taylor said she had been unaware of the two outstanding warrants against her. She said Nowitzki knew about her past arrests, nicknaming her his "little jailbird." She blamed Nowitzki's longtime German coach, Holger Geschwindner, for ordering a prenuptial agreement, an investigation into her past and turning Nowitzki against her. "I've known Dirk for seven years -- and, no, I didn't tell him everything about my past because I was afraid," Taylor said during a series of phone calls in which she sobbed frequently. "But, I mean, now I'm pregnant and alone and broke because he is my only source of income." Privacy laws prevent officials from releasing medical records that would address whether Taylor is pregnant or whether she was even tested.

Marv, you're on your way player. Those NBA guys make a lot of dough and you can tell your story on Oprah like that other pregnant guy. Just make sure you get that DNA test first before you go on Maury because that could be embarrassing.

This happens alot. A good dude that's got things working out for him and then gets caught up in some shenanigans like this. Those crazy chiks are nothing to write home about, but damn, most of them know how to f&*K. She must have did a number on Dirk for him to get caught up with her.

Fellas, we all had situations like this come up. I dodged my bullet after finding out some chik i was banging wasn't preg... took over a year before I felt comfortable. Bith lied to me all along and never took a pregnancy test!

I will not judge a this woman looks based on a prison mug shot. I don't know if there was ever a person that looked attractive with a prison mug shot.

Its to much of a coincidence though that she gets pregnant soon after Dirk and her slit up. I wouldn't be surprised if when things started going south with her and Dirk she looked to get pregnant to either keep Dirk or collect child support.
