Any fans of the show Scrubs on here? The finale was last night.

This was the only thing I followed on TV all these years other than Sopranos and Entourage. This was my favorite comedy of all-time. The show ending leaves me with nothing to look forward to and like I just lost a bit of myself as well. It sucks that it's over. I'll get over it eventually but right now I'm still grieving. It didn't help that the finale was so sad either. It was brilliant and I'm happy they were able to nail it like that.

Out of everyone, I will miss the Janitor the most. Deep down I actually want a Janitor spin-off with Ted and a couple of other bit players in there. Hooch too. Janitor was so incredibly underrated. Besides Turk and JD, he was my favorite character and the funniest on the entire show.

I'm gonna miss the laughs that this gave me throughout the years, even if the show started to decline at some point. Scrubs was still better than no Scrubs. That's what we have now. The TV world is worse off today. RIP Scrubs.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

I love Scrubs - I own seasons 1-6 on DVD. Didn't follow it as much this past season, although I did cheat and watch the finale online.

It definitely did decline significantly after the 3rd of 4th season, but from what I've heard, and the couple episodes I've seen, they brought back a more serious tone for the last season, which is what made the early seasons so great.

I'll definitely miss it, but I'm glad they walked away when they did instead of dragging it on for the hell of it. JD, Turk...we've had a good run.

felt the same way after Cheers and Seinfeld too. I absolutely hated this last season and stopped watching after the first few episodes. It was obvious to me that either the writers or producers or staff were entirely different and just couldn't capture the feel of what I had been paying attention too.

I watched it myself, it was ok.

Just to be clear, I don't think this a series finale.. I think it's just a finale for Zach Braff - I'm pretty sure the show is continuing without him and the producer, Bill Lawrence.

Never got into the show... watched it, just never got into it.

If you're looking for a comedy to take its place, try The Office. That show is ****ing hilarious.

And if you haven't seen The Wire yet, do yourself a favor and give it a two-episode trial run... you'll be hooked after that.

Scrubs' comedy is not for everyone really. There was a lot of corniness but that is what essentially made it funny.

I don't know how a series can continue without its main character or its producer. Cheers without Sam, Seinfeld without Seinfeld? Strange.

The whole point of the show was that the characters dorky. didn't really need you to chime on why you didn't like it. The point of the thread was for fans of the show. Thanks anyway.
