Oh, man, does he ever tell it like it is! He makes a point of going at Eisley and Anderson, and then mentions the WFAN Layden interview.

Since New York doesn't have a team worth watching, we the fans have to settle for the next best thing: the sports press attacking Dolan and Layden and their putrid excuse for a team. If only I thought Dolan had enough of a clue to actually listen to what people are saying, I would have hope for a move in the right direction.

Instead, tonight the Pistons will have no excuse. They have to pound the Knicks into the dirt, what with Eisley and Anderson in the starting 5. Looking for positives? Well, let's hope Frank can put together two good games, that would be a ray of hope. Or Sweetney getting some minutes to at least be useful. Here's one: Othella makes enough noise that either the Raptors or Bulls (or anyone!) will pull the trigger on a trade. That's how I'll be able to stand watching this game: Frank, Salads, Othella.

Prediction? An entire 4th quarter full of garbage time.

Watching them fail. Man its getting bad around here.

Don't know whats worse, the team like it is and pulling a despirite move, or allowing the losing for a better tomorrow.

Dolan Does not have to fire Laydog, all he needs to do is state a change of thinking and Laydog will build an exciting team with youth, fire Chaney at seasons end, bring in Rivers, and buyout FatSpoon to demonstrate his sincerity.

We know we cant trade 6 players to satisfy the internet banter, but at some point the truth must be admitted.

ON the flip side, the team on paper is not terrible and should be playing better than it is.

Directive. Fire Chaney, give an assistant the club for the rest of the year. if they do a miricle turnaround, then extend and pass on rivers. If not, bring him here.

Second Directive. Too bad Vujanic comes here in the summer. Get Derek Jeter to pick up some hotties and show him the town. Offer him the same money he makes in europe, and give him the starting job. If he can't handle it, so then he can play behind Eisley or Williams. Or if we must, trade Williams for crawford. I don't care.

THE PROBLEM AT HAND MUST BE SOLVED WITH A HIGHER LEVEL OF THINKING THAN THAT IN WHICH IT WAS CREATED: ALBERT EINSTIEN

They moved the link to that beheading of LayDown WFAN interview, but here's the direct link:

http://wfan.com/chrismikeaudio/local_audioclip_322181857.html

Now the media reporters are not even going to the games like they used to. Wow...

This is why I rip people so hard when they make futile attempts to defend Laydown and his moves. That man can't even explain why he does them himself. There will be many more articles and interviews like these this season.

If LayDown had at least a reasonable excuse (using his dysfunctional logic) for this mess, then it would at least give those who (for whatever knuckleheaded reason) defend him some ammo aginst the growing masses who see the grim reality. Instead, he makes himself look like the absolute fool, giving full justification for being called every name in the book.

Anyone who defends him or his moves only need to listen to that interview to realize how idiotic they are too.

IMO they'll make a desperate move (or 2) before the season's over. However, they'll use some other reson for it besides just saying they were DEAD WRONG about their gameplan from the outset. After that fails, then it'll be time for the LayDown defenders to finally stand down and choke on the crow they'll be force fed by those who were smart enough to see the writing on the wall long before. Of course I am referring to the fans in this case, not the fickle media.

Maybe then this team can see some real changes for the better.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!
