Are you kidding? There are a few big reasons why there season is over and you listed perhaps two of them. I don't think any of us want any more under achievers (e.g. - Chandler). And we have to give up a lottery pick for that? No chance.

That is a lot for West and Chandler. You are giving them 2 first rounders? Is that you Isiah? What have you done to dj?

let me put it to you this way:

your frontcourt is now chandler/west/chandler/gallo - don't have to mess with that for at least 4-5 years.

you can then trade lee for a guard...

still no stars have been added? Great- a mediocre front court that is set for the next 4-5 years.

No Thanks. I like Chandler alot for this team but I don't like West. He's a very good player but has no presence on the court.

Chandler sucks. He has the best pg in the league and averages 9pts a game and isn't even that great of a rebounder any more. Not to mention he is very injury prone. The knicks would be better off signing Gorat from the magic.

If they couldn't get two games against the nuggets with a top five player, what value do they have hear.

Thats a terrible trade and most of the reasons were already mentioned. I'd rather stay put and save the money for ourselves.

David West went from the most underrated player in the league last year, to the most overrated this year.

Stay far away from Boozer and D. West. They are jump shooting "big men" who play like they are 6'2 and want no parts of defense and grunt work.

why wouldn't u just package D Lee & the lottery pick for West straight up instead? why include a future #1? we shouldn't be trading away any more future picks unless we're talking about franchise calibre talent like Lebron, etc. IMO... Chandler's contract is too restrictive & he's not a good enough player to sacrifice all that cap space for at this point when 2010 is Donnie's main focus... plus his skillset is way too limited for MDA's system, he wants guys who can shoot the ball at all 5 positions... West would be a terrific fit for this system, Chandler would not.

Ok City got Chandler for Joe Smith and Chris Wilcox -- and that's before they flunked him for his toe injury and before he flamed out in the playoffs with the bad ankle.

I'm a Chandler fan but we can get him for something like Hughes and Mobley's deal.

West is another guy I like but we don't really need him (redundant).

Keep the picks -- no more trading #1 picks.

Chandler is there for the taking with a very reasonable price tag if the Knicks want him.

I hope we target Chandler --- despite some of his injury issues and poor offensive game I love his length, athleticism, rebounding and shot blocking.
I also like that he doesn't need shots.

He has a big deal but he will be cheaper than most players of his potential and caliber.
