i love rubio, but i don't think there is even much debate that griffen is the #1 pick.

it's pretty much a consensus around the league.

now, if the knicks get #1 can i see us trading it for the #2 pick (for rubio) and try to get something else out of it (like maybe a pick next year, although i am guessing teams that expect to be bad again might not be willing to do that, or another rotation-type player)?

I think there would be a team or two that would be down with that scenario. Griffin is head and shoulders above the rest, so I am fairly confident that there would be at least one GM that would take the bait and give us their #1 in '10, unprotected.

I've seen very little of Rubio and Griffin is a beast. Unless they say he is 6-4 I can't pass on him.
