Good player and great mix but I have to question Chandler's mental state. He plays with no emotion. Every highlight in that mix looks like he was forced to play basketball. You can't even call it composure because of how inconsistent he is and he as also stated that he loss confidence many times throughout the season. I feel if Chandler could sit down and talk with a psychologist it could benefit our franchise but mainly Wilson.

There are some players that show emotion and do nothing. Then there are players that let their game do the talking. Wilson lets his game do the talking. Al Houston and Karl Malone were the same way. There are some players that get 2 minutes a game get one dunk in 3 months and want to talk trash. I prefer a player that let's his game do the talking.

Allan Houston and Karl Malone did show emotion in their games albeit very little. Wilson Chandler has NO emotion. I have never even seen him smile after a win or winning streak or a career game. When we hit game winners he sat on the bench and watch while everyone rejoiced. Maybe he hates the Knicks. I don't want a trash talker who gets a good play every 3 months (see Boston Celtics Bill Walker) but I wouldn't mind seeing some passion. Even D'Antoni joked that Wilson Chandler might become a serial killer.

the de la song was a better fit imho....

just looking at the clip...what position is this dude. He shows no fear against guys like KG...and he takes apart small fwds not named Lebron, even though he plays him tough....yet he can take shooting guards off the dribble and shoot jumpers in their face from long range...he's started at all 3 positions as a Knick and was very effective.

its a good problem to have but going forward what do the Knicks do? with the presence of Gallo who I think is gonna have a great year next season coming right out the gate...do the Knicks continue to play this cat at shooting guard??? Like I said he doesn't look like a shooting guard but he plays a good one on TV.

Sit down and talk with a psychologist? Maybe Derrick Rose could join the session.

Dude was mostly a rookie and that was why the inconsistencies showed up. We should let him simmer for another year or 2 before we settle on how he will play.

Maybe its just a Chicago thing. Chandler (DePaul), E. Curry (Native) and Rose (Native). As a Jets fan it's difficult to watch a player that plays like their Eric Mangini.

That clip was bit long, and if im a scout, I make him go left every time. Chandler get's he's jumper in order and he will be Joe Johnson type player.

i love how Wilson handles himself on the floor... i wish more players would follow suit... when a guy stands there & poses & flexes after throwing down a dunk meanwhile his team is down by 20 in a game, it makes him look like a complete fool... i don't mind guys who get emotional after making a big play to help their teams win games, but some of these guys take it way over the edge & it's all about self promotion & nothing else... Wilson clearly shows he doesn't care about any of that stuff, he's all about doing it on the court where it counts & leaves it at that... it's pretty refreshing to see a young talented guy like that who isn't all about himself & just wants to make plays to help his team.

I started off with the Wu track because it is a situp for the track I wanted to play which was the De La track. Remember the video is 7 minutes. The De la song i does not sound that good looped twice.

As far as Chandler, I think he stays at the shooting guard until the Knicks sign or draft a 2 guard. On the defensive end it does not matter. He can guard any position from 1-4. I doubt Gallo will start the season off as a starter.

Not to mention he was taken in and out of the lineup. It's hard to be consistent if you are a start one day and a player off the benched the next. Then you have to factor in he was also asked to play the pf one night and then sg the next. Once Mike D defined Chandler as a starter playing the shooting guard position Chandler finished the season strong.

That's the thing, fans get on Nate for showboating then when a player like Chandler is laid back they want to complain.

I'm with you TMS. Dude is a throw back guy. Red would have loved this guy. ESPN is right as much as fans talk about not wanting players that self promote, they seem dependent on it. I guess grabbing ones balls and high stepping is now just part of the game. If you don't fist pump or put up rooster signs you don't care.

i don't mind at all when i see Nate doing the self promoting posing after he makes a big play... what annoys me about him is he does it no matter what the situation is, regardless if his team is down by 20, up by 20 or making a comeback in a tightly contested game... it's so much about "hey look at me & look what i just did" w/Nate that it goes over the edge sometimes... i'd much rather have a guy like Wilson who went to the opposite extreme than someone who takes it way too far to the point of being obnoxious.

Maybe that's why Nate and Wil are so close. Chandler says that Nate never shuts up and he is quiet.

disappointing commercial right here. Probably the worst ESPN spot.
