I read something suggesting the Knicks might try to pick up Carlos Boozer this offseason to beef up the front line.

Personally, I've never been that high on Boozer, although I admit I dont know much about his defensive abilities. I really would prefer the Knicks bring in Bosh over Boozer. I know I get hell for saying it, but I just feel like Bosh fits better in the system.

Overrated player. He looked totally out of place on court in the Olympics.

He also lacks the length and defensive presence we need in the PF position if we continue to try to get by without a true center. He is decent at staying in front of his man on D, but he blocks shots like Zach Randolph.

I coulda sworn I posted something in this thread or had started my own boozer thread....

Well I would be all for picking up Boozer if Donnie found a way to move contracts and save money....

I just wish Lee wasn't such a puss. His main flaw is he brings absolutely no toughness inside on either end. Yeah he needs help but with Lee you need almost a dominant player inside for im to be effective. Lee would rather let guys sail in than defend.

we need a pivot more than another forward. It's easier to improve a team by addressing ts weaknesses than it's (relative) strengths. I would love to see a shotblocker type in here, as we already have Lee and Harrington at the 4 currently.

In this day and age "pivot" doesn't even exist any more. I feel you though.

Technically, the knicks already have a decent power fwd in lee, a decent sf in harrington, a converted sg in chandler....they just need a real center and a real point guard....

Now question.....how good can the Knicks be if they got say camby and andre miller some how?
