What to do about David Lee?

I think our best bet would be to Sign+Trade him.
If he gets anything more than $8.5m/per in the offseason he would not be worth his production, considering his defensive liabilities and our future cap considerations.

If we could somehow swing something like:
A resigned David Lee + Cash to Goldenstate for Crawford + Randolph.
Throw in a second rounder to get it done if necessary and we would be set at 2 positions going forward.

Goldenstate is very unhappy with Crawford and his contract on their books.
I know Randolph has been is playing great lately but he has had clashes with management recently as well...

The Knicks got rid of Jamal because of his contract. They are not going to take his contract back. Maybe you can find another player who's contract expires in the summer of 2010.

On a side note, Randolph has game.

At least you not asking "Would you David Lee" because the answer is still no. But yes to GS scenario. But at this point I think even Nellie realizes Randolph's value in the league. I don't see GS doing that deal.

HA! My first thought when I read this was that we were getting Jamal and Zach back.
Doesn't Lee, as an RFA, have to agree to go to the team we trade him to? If so, that drastically limits our options. Unless he wants to go to Toronto, for example, you can forget about Bosh being involved in a deal.
