"They don't care about anything else. All the guys understand that feeling, because they just had it [an NBA championship]. I want the same feeling, too. When you win a championship, it's like a drug. You're on a high. I want some of that high."

Garnett is so repulsed by Marbury his knee has given out and he has only played 4 games with him.

Its not his fault of course, it never is.

Marbury humble act is so touching!

I love how Berman alludes to the Knicks being better if only we had allowed Steph to play, thus ignoring that 2 of the last 3 years with Steph we have won 23 games and 3 of the last 3 years we have been an embarrassment with him as a key figure.

I think it's beautiful that Berman has found time to write about his BFF again. Long-distance relationships are tough but he manages to tough it out.

Hey, Marc. Steph's not a Knick anymore. MOVE ON or just go work for the Boston Globe.

We all need to let it go and start worring about where do we go from here. If not playing Marbs so that Douhon could feel better or play better it didn't work. I think that Marbs could have helped this team and we could have show cased him and maybe got something for him at the trade deadline. Busines is business and you just don't do what we did because we don't like someone. We are now in a bad situration and so far Marb has caused no trouble in Boston. We let our anger fog up our business savy and that is why we are in the situration that we are in today. No one wants to come here no one wants to play here just watch in 2010. No Lebron, no Bosh, no Wade.

Yeah, really, why can't we just let the sores of the past go away and let them be ignored.

Cosmic: We all have wounds and we must let it go. I've been waiting for another championship since 1973 the last one. I'm telling you word is out (don't go to New York) We must now look ahead and learn from the mistakes from the past. We shall see what 2010 will bring us. We think that getting rid of everyone and being well under the cap we have a chance for Lebron, Bosh, or Wade?? They ain't coming here. New York is high pressure and they remember what happened to Ewing and Marbs. The majority of the basketball player from all over the league think that Marbs got a raw deal in New York. All this crap is going to hurt our chances of getting a top player.

With his + 3.48 EFF Marbury is once again performing below even his haters expectations. People have to get over the notion that we lost anything but a disease with that guy.

We won't (read: Berman) stop this Marbury nonsense until next season. I expect the playoffs to be full of it because, hey, we're not in and Steph is.

But I do wish Steph well. I don't think he was ever a bad guy, just a confused guy. It truly is a shame that he couldn't work out here and finish his career as a Knick.
WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

I actually saw Marbury on the street yesterday right outside my office. No one really noticed him- it sounded like he was on the phone with his better ho.

i'd venture to guess that not many sports news journalists do either for that matter.
