Yeah, I like Jeff, but he needs to STFU. The league is doing whatever it can to cleanse itself of the Palace of Auburn Hills incident, and now JVG is encouraging these two to fight. Sometimes it's best to keep your thoughts to yourself. And I actually agree that the league has turned into a bunch of pansies, and Varejeo should have defended himself, but fighting can't be promoted.

JVG was just trying to prove a point that basketball players are all talk now. They get all huffy but it really is just fake fighting. It's like a guy waiting for someone to hold him then starts acting all macho when someone is holding them.

Varejao made the right move, imo. His team is fighting for best record in the league, and he is an important part of that-more so now with Ben Wallace out. The Celts have become a bunch of self-entitled punks since winning the chip. He defends himself he probably gets thrown out.

As for Jeff, remember, he comes from the Riley school. Not defending that he should have said it-he shouldn't have, but that is his philosophy.

Does JVG always sound like a whiney pusbag? I listened to him talk about AllStar voting for about 15 seconds before I shut the game off and went back to watching Tiger lose the Masters.

JVG was rigiht about the cage and the ' who wants to go at each other' . This IS all fake stuff.

About the incident itself-- it seems that Varejao moved his right arm DOWN as Allen was on the ground and this provoked an UP reaction from Ray.

I love how whenever Ray Jesus gets into an altercation it's almost always with a notoriously dirty player.

Didn't he almost get into a fight with Bruce Bowen a couple years ago? Bowen kicked him in the back, IIRC.

Yeah, that was a weak move by Waaaaaaaaaay Allen. From what I've noticed he has female tendencies, he's always crying or carrying on about something.

We should have some interesting playoff matches ups. There is a decent amount of bad blood from several teams heading into the post-season.
