Why wasn't PEJ signed rather than someone like Nichols?

what does Nichols bring to the table? he's not even playing... sign up PEJ & the fans would be chanting his name to be put in during garbage minutes... this season was gone a long time ago... at least the fans could have had something to cheer about if they saw Ewing Jr. on the court... too late now but i still don't understand what the Knicks had to possibly lose by bringing him over when Dinglebury got his buyout.

Neither player brings anything at this point --- PEJ would just be a feel good story and an immediate fan favorite. Seems like a no-brainer to me. Why not make the fans feel good and give them someone to root about?

he may not be a shooter but tell me a guy w/that kinda athleticism & finishing ability wouldn't be a fit in an uptempo style game... i made the same argument for James White a while back... the games over the past few weeks have been so boring cuz the Knicks were out of the playoff hunt... this kinda stuff would at least give fans something to get excited about at MSG... they pay enough money to attend the games, why not do something for the fans for once instead of signing up scrubs like Roberson & Nichols who no one could care less if they see minutes or not?

Chandler's been playing SG for a long time now, Gallo's not even playing, & we got Fishlips starting at C... yeah, we could use PEJ on this team.
