Which one would you prefer to have for lets say for the next 2 1/2 season. There playing each other now, kidd has 16 ast in the first half, but nash seems to be the only one scoring on the suns.

We know nash has been a mvp in Mike's system, but overall Im cluess as to which one is more suited for this team. Just curious to know what some of you think

it would be crazy to take Kidd over Nash knowing how Nash has done in the system
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Kidd plays great defense tho & is the best rebounding G in the NBA... dunno which one i would take actually... both are great floor generals & excel in the uptempo style offense... i think if i had a #1 & #2 option on the floor scoring wise other than my PG, then i would take Kidd because he brings a more all around game... if i were looking for my PG to be a part of my 1-2 punch, then i would take Nash... if we got someone like Bosh or Amare for example, i'd take Nash... if we were just gonna go w/our current roster & i had to decide between the 2, i'd probably take Kidd because he addresses more needs for us in the backcourt overall.

Neither is your final solution at PG, so you you would be picking one or the other for a purpose other than leading you to the promised land. Nash's connection with MDA is significant. If we were to pick up someone in this draft who Walsh/MDA sees as the future PG of the franchise, then Nash is the guy you would want to mentor that young PG.

Is Earl the Pearl available? What about Nate Archibald? Scratch that, I say we focus on giving Bob Cousy the MLE.

These guys are still at the top of the league as far as point guards go. They can't play forever but I can see them both playing till 40. I mean why not? Stockton was an old man still playing at a high level and still could have squeezed a few more years out.

I'd take either....Nash played in the system, but Kidd played in a very similiar system in NJ. Kidd played under D'antoni in the olympics......

So either or.....I would be kinda disappointed if one of them didn't become a Knick next season, especially if they do end up trading them/losing them in free agency.

I kinda don't think I could see Kidd coming to NY. He'll latch on to a contender (Cleveland?) and try to win a ring.

If Phoenix doesn't keep Nash- and given they're headed for the lotto, I could see them going into cost cutting mode- I could see Nash coming here.

And I think he would be good for 10 wins easy.

Why do I have a grudge against Kidd? Is it the smack-talking and ass-handing he used give the Knicks when he was a denizen of the Meadowlands? Is it his family drama? I vote for Nash. Dude loves this town.

I have to go with Nash. JKidd no longer likes to run and gun, that is why he ran Scott out of NJ the worst mistake that Thorn made was choosing Kidd over Scott.
