First off, I have a question. Is this knee issue REALLY b/c of his weight? I mean, it's so easy for us to say that, but most of us aren't doctors, and neither is Mike D'Antoni.

Secondly, what gives? It's been all season and there seems to be no progress what so ever. Is this going to be something that requires surgery? Notice, there hasn't been much talk about the knee all season. Just his weight, weight, weight and his off the court issues.

Geeze, we get on Gallo for him and his bad back and delaying getting surgery, but at least he's doing whatever he can to work on himself.

I'm like 5'11" near 170lbs and know that if I put on 5lbs my bad knee starts to act up when I go full throttle.

Curry is like 80lbs overweight at the very least and out of shape and doing it at the professional level. Dude needs to lose the fat.

In my eyes its pretty simple --- Eddy doesn't want to play and is doing the bare minimum not to be in jeopardy of the Knicks coming after his salary.

He didn't report to camp in shape (at all) -- his feelings got hurt when D'Antoni called him out (rightly so) for being a lazy fat-f**k and he has been getting back at the Knicks (passively - aggressive like the chick he is) all season.

The nerve he has to tell everyone that he plans on working out and getting in shape this offseason --- what the hell happened to last summer?

Of course he has to lose the fat. I'm just wondering if the injury was originally caused by the extra weight putting that pressure on the knee or whatnot.

With that said, even if he didn't have an injury, he has to lose weight. It's f'in ridiculous. He's going to have to pull an Ike Austin and retire for a year to lose weight and then come back.

no one knows if it was originally caused by the fat or not - really, who cares - but the fat will continue to hurt him.

When a man can't see his body crying out for help then there is no helping that person. Its up to Curry to listen to his body.

bigtime... Mine is totally reconstructed but every pound makes a difference. I'm 6'3 and 195 right now. I lift and work out all the time. I show up in April weighing 195 with like 6-7% body fat and guys on my team crack on me because talk about losing 8-10 pounds. The difference between playing a 4 game tourney at 185 vs 195 is unreal. It takes a week for the swelling to go down if dont stay below 190.

Doesnt sound like a lot but I always give this example. Take a backpack and put 4 extra large textbooks in it. Now go exercise for 3 hours. Take off the backpack. Tell me your legs, knees, ankles, feet and hips dont notice that weight.

Curry doesnt seem to posses anything close to the drive and dedication it takes to lose that kind of weight. Hell... I have to give up beer Mon-Thurs to drop the last 5 pounds which results in me crying myself to sleep those nights. No way Curry possess that level of dedication.

Truth.

Eddy is grossly overweight. He is 355 or so. He has a problem beyond his control. I would be sympathetic if he was my friend but he is not and he is making 10M a year. So, lose the weight, fatty, or retire! He won't he will milk this contract to it's end. I can't say I wouldn't do the same....but that does not exactly help the Knicks whom I cheer for. Curry is simply in the weigh. Yes, that was intentional.

Im to lazy, but if someone could pull up that clip of him show where he was working out last off season they would learn that he was well over the top with his weight, and he never mention any sort of work regime. His passion has been in question far to much in his career. He's not even going to b in this league after next season if continue on that path. It's either we have a incompetent med staff or he doesnt give sht.

What kinda of knee injury takes a season to heal unless your coming off surgery. It has to be his weight, there not going to make that public with his stock already in the basement.

talk about smells, I don't want to be there when they cut open his knee and the KC Masterpiece® Barbecue Sauce pours out.
