Come on is the market for a center that bad. Ostertag doesnt have the coordination to tie his shoe correctly. I would really be upset if we trade Ward for him. I rather have Jabba the Hut(shameless star wars plug) patrolling the paint.

Actually Id rathe have derrick coleman. I know u people hate this guy but he has better skills than any of the center you mention in trade. And he would be cheaper than all of them. His attitude, well losing saeems to do that to people. NY is his home.

Derrick coleman might be ok, but we really need a center that will clog the middle and rebound. From what I have seen of DC, he has turned into more of a perimeter player. That's not what the Knicks are really looking for with Camby a big question mark.

If we have to trade with Utah, it better be for Donyell Marshall and Deshawn Stevenson. What about KT + JAX for those two? Or Jax for Foyle? Or wait untill Foyle his BYC is over and trade Eisley for Foyle.

Still I hope Ostertag won't happen, if he's getting outplayed by Spencer you just know he ain't worth that 7 mil a year and rising contract.

Maybe DC wouldn't be so bad. He had a good game filling in some time at center. The better he plays though, the tougher it will be to get him.

Getting back to Ostertag i would trade Ward for him. He isn't the best center out there, but he is big and is a starting center on a playoff team. We don't want him because he can score(which he can't) but want him because he brings good defense, good rebounding, and good size to the squad. Though i wouldn't be thrilled, i would be ok with a deal for him.
