Is this our home team play by play announcer? Yes the Knicks have been terrible the last couple of years it still give no excuse that, I as a fan watching the game on my home network feel like I'm watching an opposing team feed. I like Mike Breen. He covers the important part of the game - the officials, their role in the game, their trials and tribulations. He correctly points out player mistakes and boneheaded moves. If only the players would listen to Mike Breen the game would be so much better. Better yet, if the league would just eliminate the players and let us watch the officials! Ahh. Now that would be some good entertainment.

Breen can lick it as far as I am concern. I will never forget that his success came as a result of a man biting a woman on the neck and back while wearing panties.

Gus should do every game. He's a great homer announcer. Kenny Smith is great as a color guy too.

Kenny Smith was awful. Gus is great, so I don't mind if he'd be the one to replace Breen, but other than that, Mike is OK. He gets annoying at times, but he also knows stuff and he's not affraid to point out certain things that are correct. Sometimes he just talks about stupid stuff like annoying the refs and getting techs, and being a poor sport.

Breen gets about a B I would say.

Couple? Dude, we're hitting Clippers territory right now. Our last .500+ season was 2000-2001 and that was when we were eliminated in the first round.

Why do you think you never hear people talk about the Knicks anymore, the way they talk about the Giants and the Yankees. It's b/c they've been bad for really really really long. Just remember, people ALWAYS talked about them when they were good.

Actually Breen doesn't know his stuff. He is constantly being criticized for double talking by his color commentators on both ABC/ESPN and Clyde. Sometimes you can hear the frustration in his partners' voices. He often repeats the same thing over and over to try to get his point of course which of course was proved wrong. Reminds me of the NBA version of McCarver.
