In all fairness this was his first game in months if you want to count preseason.
There is no way in hell that the Knicks will be able to trade Curry without giving up a draft or getting a bigger contract back. Curry has to do some serious conditioning over the summer. Wilcox can't even get playing time. So how much playing time do you think Curry will get next year?

On a positive note, you can see how he takes up space in the middle. He appeared his usual lazy and mostly disinterested self on defense but the space he takes up does change things. He is just so lazy for the most part that people will always drive towards him. Now, if we had a shot blocking PF with him out there, it would not be so bad. But, him and Lee, no no no...

Really - its more like 2 years since he's actually played.

Donnie needs to threaten Curry & his agent and tell them if he isn't ready for training camp, that he will go to court to cancel his contract. I know there isn't language about specifically being in shape, the fact is, enough money and lawyers can change anything & Curry doesn't have money on his side.

I agree with you except for the shot blocking center....i mean you just explained why he sucks....he's lazy and disinterested. Add the fact he doesn't know or want to know how to actually play this game. Its a shame man....if he had just a little bit of heart he would be a really good player.

The only way ec will give you anything is if you make it fun for him. He isn't going to work hard. If he is having you might get something from him. Threats to get in shape will yield nothing.

The threat is as much for his agent as for him.

And for Curry, this is about an intervention. He's burned through all his cash, taken an advance- and even though the $20mm left on his deal might seem like a lot, I don't think it will last him long.

Why do the Knicks get stuck with these players who get paid huge amounts of money and dont even play? How many other teams in the league have this problem? I also wonder why the league has not done something with the CBA to prevent things like this from happening. Guaranteed money is hurting the league.
