thanks broham... I read the article and was pissed at him, but I liked that he stood his ground to the best PG in the league. I think the Knicks have missed that, "you know what? FUCK YOU CHRIS FUCKIN PAUL" attitude.

I don't think Nate is the right fit for the long-term of this team--the team needs a fresh start. I appreciate his pride, because there hasn't been pride in the lockerroom for a long minute here.

When guys like Derek Harper, John Starks, Anthony Mason, Chris Childs, etc. stood their ground, we pat em on the back and say they had swagger... yet Nate is going to get hated on for squeezing a W out of a good team in New Orleans, manning up to Chris ****in Paul.

Agreed. Chris Paul started it. Paul hit a jumpshot saying,"You can't guard me." Nate then said something like, you can't gaurd me. Then the Hornets hit Hughes hard. Then then next play Paul says to Nate after he made a layup, "You ain't chit." While pointing at Nate twice. As much as people are hard on Nate Paul is no angel. He is the same guy that punched Julius Hodge in the nuts in college because Hodge was playing tough defense. Chris Paul also try to do the same thing to Alston. I'm a fan of Chris Paul big time but Nate is right with this one. Not to mention in the post game interview Paul was throwing jabs at Nate calling him a "Slam Dunk Champion." and saying a comment like,"His team won so I guess he is the better player." Yet in Nate's interview he played the high road.

The thing is people get on Nate but Nate is not as half as emotional as John Starks. It's like people forgot the Knicks players attitude of the past.

just a little easier...

i posted a who's better poll copying a poll from msg last night...I said my piece on Chris Paul...Nate should have punched Paul in the face, cuz I would have. At that point Paul isn't playing basketball anymore. You hit him and you don't stop until you are pulled off him by teamates and refs.

I absolutely hate guys that think they are gangsters cuz they can play basketball. Chis Paul is a douche bag adn not just because of his antics last night.

Spike Lee and Chris Paul had words too...Paul was yelling at him after this play. I'm sure Spike called Paul a ***** cuz thats what he is.

Nate is a clown, plain and simple. He likes to show up teams with his clownish antics but takes offense when someone takes it to him. Paul wasn't an angel there but what did he do? He talked and played aggressive, nothing dirty. Nate's response was to get in his face and start an altercation, because he likes to think of himself as a little tough guy.

Knowing Nate, isn't it rather likely that he did something to rile up Paul so start the whole thing?
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

Nate has a severe Napoleonic Complex... i like how he plays w/a chip on his shoulder but sometimes that **** gets outta hand... can't really comment on why Nate got in Paul's face cuz u don't hear what's being said on the court, but don't expect Nate to change his ways... that's just who he is.

Does it really matter if Nate may have done something 1st or not? Paul still did plenty to escalate the situation. Oh and Nate IS a little tough guy! He's not pretending like Paul. Nate has never shown any fear on the court and takes getting hammered by bigger guys regularly. I think the team needs his fire, without him the team has no balls!
