I think Marcus is very talented but the last two months he has been a total dog and doesnt play half the time. He sits out games, and against the Knicks it looked like he stayed out all night. You think a guy that got 10 points and ten board and 1 block last month and is getting 8 points and 6 boards this month at 37 years old can help this team? This guy has made the clippers a big winner and denver just went in the tank when he left so I feel bring on Camby for the Knicks next year.

He's a headcase, but I think he'd be inspired if he was brought in here.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

i think it's more nostalgia than anything. If LJ or Ewing would suit up, many posters would welcome the player back.

He's old as the day is long.

I don't want this washed up player anywhere near NY.

no, actually it's his ability to put up double doubles and be a shotblocking intimidator in the paint... it's funny u would reference the fact that he hasn't helped the Clippers or Nuggets win but always the first to defend D Lee when the same accusations are thrown his way.

we don't need these things... defense & shotblocking are overrated.

he's old as hell, why are we even talking about him being a viable solution to anything?

I also hate the fact that he has been a model of health ever since he took off the blue and orange jersey. When he was in NY, he was seeing like 25 games a year max because of injuries. Ridiculous.

^Gee, Martin tell us what you really think of Camby. I think he is just collecting a check now. Maybe a change of scenery would help.

He is a dog and doesnt even try. If he was such a greeat defender why do they give up 105 points per game. He is 37 and would play about 30 games and hang it up

37? He only played in the league 12 years.

I am saying people right now at his age he would not help the Knicks next year all I am saying. The last two months he has played like a donkey not saying he was a bad player for his career.

Uh he's 35. At this point, Camby obviously wouldn't be a long term solution. I think the annoyance is that he shouldn't have been traded to the Nuggets in that lopsided trade in the first place.

Of course then again, if you combine trades (which I think is unfair, but to illustrate a point), didn't we effectively trade something like Camby, Kurt Thomas, Maciej Lampe, Mark Jackson, the #7 overall, two other 1st rounders and two second rounders for Stephon Marbury?

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

i'm responding to both of u... don't see how it's confusing... how about explaining to me how a guy averaging 11 / 11 / 2 while shooting over 50% on the season is finished in your eyes instead of the lame one liner response w/no factual basis to back it up?

I've never understood the fascination with Camby. Sure he's been a solid source of rebounds, blocks and help defense but the guy has trouble playing 65 games a year - he's only played in more than 65 4 times in his 13 year career. To me that's too risky to rely on.
