anybody is better than Fadeaway JJ...but is he going to be a good player in the league. bro, he size just doesnt work and i dont see the necessary skills or athleticism to compensate?
This is what Curry is going to look like going to the hole in the NBA... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acsVk3ls_NE [Edited by - sebstar on 03-19-2009 6:10 PM] My saliva and spit can split thread into fiber and bits/ So trust me I'm as live as it gets.

Posted by JohnWallace44: Wow, you are harsh. The dude single-handedly took Davidson to the Elite 8 last year beating Gonzaga, Georgetown, Wisconsin (one of the best defensive teams year after year in college hoops) and losing to the eventual champ Kansas by 2. In hit tournament run he shot 46% averaging 32pts/game. I would not sell this kid short whatsoever. If Monta Ellis (they are the same height/weight) can play and play well in the NBA then so can Curry. Curry is just as athletic and is 10X the better shooter. I'm not saying we should draft him no matter what. I'm just saying I would take a long look at him. Monta's not a winner either.
I want the Knicks to get back to a Harper/Houston/Spree sized backcourt so we can play NYC style and manhandle some teams. I'm tired of getting run over by LeBron, Wade, Kobe, Vince or anybody else who comes in here. Alan Hahn:

Posted by JohnWallace44: Well how do you draft a winner? The furthest Tim Duncan every got at Wake was the Sweet 16 and he was playing with other pros on his team. Chris Paul never got anywhere in the NCAA Tourney either. What defines a winner? Is there a better definition of a winner than a guy who plays at very small school and carries his team of walk-ons to the Elite 8? Cmon JW don't be dogging Curry. We have the unique advantage with Curry of having seen his pops play in the league. He was tiny as a grown man. If you want yet another role player, go ahead and draft the dude. If you want to start really building something, I would say that's not the way to go. ![]() Alan Hahn:

DeRozan and Eric Maynor are my choices from the guard position.
I'm just sayin.. let this kid go through pre-camp workouts and see what GM's think about him. A kid with his scoring ability and grittyness doesn't come around every day is all I'm saying. "OMG - did we just go on a two-trade-wining-streak?" -SupremeCommander

Dell Curry was a lot bigger, too. And no way is Curry as athletic as Monta.

How often are players like Monta and Kevin Martin even on the floor. Those are the guys who you hope he turns into, but he really doesn't have half their ability.
Maybe I'll be proven wrong someday, but I just don't buy it. Gerry McNamara was triple teamed all the time too, but he isn't in the league. There's 40 guys I would take before Curry if it were up to me. Alan Hahn:
